Privacy and your photos
Raven’s Occasions photo booth and galleries · Last updated 22 September 2026
This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your photo and anything you type when you use a Raven’s Occasions photo booth or gallery. The booth is run by Raven’s Occasions (Prince George, British Columbia) for the host of the event you are at.
Using the booth is your choice
Nothing is taken or kept unless you choose it. The camera does not open until you tick the consent box; after that, every photo you take goes to the event gallery. Please make sure everyone in the photo is happy with that, and that a parent or guardian agrees for anyone under 19. If you change your mind, ask the host or email us and the photo will be removed.
What is collected
- Your photo (and a GIF, if the event offers one), when you add it to the gallery.
- Answers to the host’s questions, if the host asks any before the photo.
- Your name and email address, only if the host asks for them and you type them in.
- Your email address for “Email it to me”: used once to send you your photo. It is not stored and not added to any list.
So that you are not asked twice, your answers and email address are remembered on your own phone until you press “Not you? Change details”. That copy never leaves your phone. A booth running on a shared screen remembers nobody.
The booth does not use cookies for advertising, does not track you across other sites, and does not use face recognition.
Who sees it
Photos in a gallery can be seen and downloaded by anyone who has the gallery link (and its password, if the host set one). The host of the event receives the photos and any answers or email addresses you gave. Raven’s Occasions handles them on the host’s behalf and does not sell or share them with anyone else.
The host may only email you for their own purposes if you ticked the box saying they may, and you can unsubscribe from their emails at any time.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Photos are stored in Raven’s Occasions’ Microsoft 365 account and campaign details in a hosted database; both may be located outside British Columbia, in Canada or the United States. Galleries close when the event’s campaign ends; after that the photos are no longer shown online, and they are deleted from our storage once the host has had time to collect them. The host may keep their own copies.
Removing a photo, or asking what is held about you
Email hello@ravensoccasions.com with the name of the event and, if you can, the time the photo was taken. We will remove a photo you are in from the gallery as quickly as we can, normally within two business days, and tell the host. You can also ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw a consent you gave.
Photos and the small mark in the corner
Booth photos may carry the host’s frame and a small “ravensoccasions.com” mark. You are welcome to save and share your own photo. The booth software, page designs and frames are © Raven’s Occasions and their respective designers.
